Self-Portraits - The design of my published dissertation manifests as a self-portrait. It takes the form of a newspaper and works in two ways; the first being that the viewer is able to read the dissertation and the second, it folding out to reveal my own self-portrait.

This self-portrait is 289x380 mm and is formed of manipulated hand written type, inspired by the third chapter of my dissertation. The chapter discusses the construction of false identities online, which is an element I wanted to show within my self-portrait through the use of distorted type.
